I recently stayed at Hotel Hanseat for a few nights and had a great experience. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, especially in assisting me with my bike bags and finding the perfect room away from the busy street. They even allowed me to keep my e-bike in the reception area, ensuring its safety. The room itself was comfortable and looked brand new, with a very cozy bed. The man at the reception was also welcoming and gave me a thorough overview of the hotel. Additionally, the hotel is conveniently located just a few hundred meters from Bergerdorf station, which offers hourly direct train connections to the city center. If you have the time, I highly recommend taking a walk to the nearby Bergerdorf castle and surrounding park – it's a delightful way to explore the area.
I would definitely recommend this hotel.

the noise from the traffic and nearby gas station disturbed the tranquility of the surroundings. the limited internet access in our room was inconvenient, necessitating visits to the lobby for a connection.
